Contender Peach

The Contender Peach is one of the best eating peaches in the world. It fruits 3 weeks after Redhaven and a week earlier than Elberta. Has excellent cold-hardiness and tolerance to late spring frosts. This is a large (3 inches) round fruit, yellow with a bright red blush over most of the surface. It is non-browning, late blooming, and consistent cropping.
